Laura Whitmore to star in Not Dead Enough

The TV presenter will appear in the world premiere of Peter James’ play next year

Laura Whitmore will star in a new play by best selling author Peter James next year.

Not Dead Enough is a murder mystery about Brian Bishop, who claims he was sixty miles away in bed the night his wife was murdered, so Superintendent Roy Grace investigates.

Not Dead Enough will get its world premiere at the Orchard Theatre in Dartford in January before touring to Milton Keynes, Woking, Brighton, Malvern, Bristol, Southampton, Richmond, Newcastle, Coventry, Glasgow, Canterbury, Dublin, Edinburgh, Northampton, Shrewsbury, Cambrudge, Manchester, Bromley, Cardiff and Worthing.

Whitmore, best known for her work as a television presenter on MTV and I'm a Celeb…, began her career at the Leinster School of Music and Drama in Dublin.

The novel on which the play is based was published in 2007 and is part of James' Roy Grace series. It follows productions of The Perfect Murder and Dead Simple from the same series.

Not Dead Enough will open at the Orchard Theatre, Dartford on 25 January 2017 before embarking on a UK tour.
