The UK premiere production opens in January starring Tamsin Greig

Haydn Gwynne, Jerome Pradon and Anna Skellern are joining Tamsin Greig (pictured) in the upcoming West End premiere of Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown.

Directed by Tony Award-winner Bartlett Sher, the show is adapted by David Yazbek and Jeffrey Lane of Pedro Almodóvar’s Oscar-nominated film of the same title.

Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown runs for 20 weeks at The Playhouse Theatre from 12 January 2015 (previews from 20 December).

Haydn Gwynne (Lucia) most recently starred as Margaret Thatcher in The Audience alongside Helen Mirren at the Gielgud Theatre.

Jerome Pradon (Ivan) returns to the West End, where previous credits include Whistle Down the Wind, Les Miserables and Pacific Overtures.

Anna Skellern (Candela) has appeared in Holding the Man at Trafalgar Studios and The Vegemite Tales at The Venue.

Set in Madrid, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown sees Pepa (Tamsin Greig) and her friends juggle their everyday lives and extraordinary moments in a "surprising, heart-breaking and rebellious musical comedy."
