Production images have been released for Counting Stars which opens at Theatre Royal Stratford East tonight.

Atiha Sen Gupta's play follows the relationship of two Nigerian immigrants, who work as nightclub toilet attendants paid nothing but tips, as they approach their first anniversary.

Directed by Pooja Ghai, it features Estella Daniels as Sophie and Lanre Malaolu as Abiodun as the club deals with its busiest night: Valentine's night.

Counting Stars runs at Theatre Royal Stratford East until 17 September.
