Casting has been announced for Matt Hartley's play, Deposit, which returns to Hampstead Theatre Downstairs this month following a sold out run in 2015.

Directed by Theatre503's artistic director Lisa Spirling (Jumpy, Enron), the cast features Ben Addis (Earthquakes in London, Headlong), Karl Davies (Hobson's Choice, Regent's Park Open Air Theatre), Natalie Dew (Bend It Like Beckham, West End) and Nicola Kavanagh (Othello, Frantic Assembly).

Deposit tells the story of two couples. Rachel (Dew) and Ben (Addis) want to buy a flat in London, as do their friends Melanie (Kavanagh) and Sam (Davies). In order to save money for a deposit they decide to all move in together. But how long can a friendship last in a one bedroom flat?

The play is one of three Hampstead Downstairs Originals which received development runs in 2015 and return with revised productions this year. The other two include Andrew Keatley's Alligators which runs from 22 June to 22 July, directed by Simon Evans, and Kiss Me by Richard Bean which will play at the Trafalgar Studios from 6 June to 8 July, directed by Anna Ledwich.

Deposit runs at Hampstead Theatre Downstairs from 17 May to 10 June, with previews from 11 May.
