Running from 28 August to 21 September 2013, the production will run at The Platform Theatre, a new venue in the Granary building, King’s Cross.

Elizarova modelled for companies including Calvin Klein, Swarovski and Victoria’s Secret while studying a law degree at a London university.

She will mark her London stage acting debut as a beautiful Russian woman who has an affair with a dashing lieutenant.

She will perform alongside Rosy Benjmin (Backbeat), Oliver King (A Warsaw Melody and Billy Budd) and Stephen Pucci (English National Opera’s The Pilgrim’s Progress).

Sunstroke combines Bunin and Chekhov’s stories to explore “the bittersweet nature of love outside marriage, its romantic idealism and the painful realisation of irreversible loss, set in a blisteringly hot Russian summer.”

The play will be directed by Oleg Mirochnikov, a London-based Russian director who has worked as the Russian vocal coach on Hollywood films World War Z and X Men.

Sunstroke is produced by Belka Productions.
