Enda Walsh on The Walworth Farce - Irish playwright Enda Walsh’s new play opened at the NT Cottesloe last week following its award-winning success at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe (See Review Round-Up, 29 Sep). Here he discusses the inspiration behind the play, and reveals his intention in writing it was to “make each part impossible for an actor” – in a good way.
Show Trailer – Six Characters in Search of an Author - Rupert Goold’s 21st-century update of Pirandello’s self-reflexive 1921 masterpiece is currently enjoying a run in the West End, following its premiere this summer at Chichester Festival Theatre (See News, 4 Aug 2008).
