WOS TV: Olivier Stars on the Red Carpet
The 34th annual Laurence Olivier Awards were announced during a star-studded ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Sunday (21 March 2010), and threw up a fair number of surprises – particularly in the category of Best New Play, with Katori Hall’s The Mountaintop beating off hot favourites Jerusalem and Enron (See Click Here for full results).
As always, Whatsonstage.com was there providing live updates as well as extensive photo coverage (Click Here for more). We were also, for the first time, on the red carpet, armed with mini ‘flip’ video recorders to capture all the excitement of Theatreland’s most prestigious annual event.
