WOS Quiz: Panto – win tickets to Aladdin A Wish Come True at the O2
It’s panto quiz time – oh yes it is! Do you know your Aladdin from your Abanazar and your Widow Twankey from your Wishy Washy? We’ve put together 20 questions to test your festive theatrical wits and truly sort the men from the dames.
The quiz runs until Friday 21 December, so get those fingers clicking boys and girls!
Aladdin – make your wish come true
For Christmas 2012, Paul O’Grady has generously granted Ms Lily Savage a rare and unique stage appearance in the spectacular pantomime of Aladdin – A Wish Come True.
Lily plays one of the greatest dames in pantomime and creates a new and updated version of the story of Widow Twankey and her son Aladdin played by Jon Lee (S Club 7, Jersey Boys, Les Misérables).
Joining them in this tale of adventure, mishap, love, comedy and magic carpet rides will be Darren Bennett (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Crazy For You, Hot Show Shuffle) as the dastardly Abanazar and Marrisa Dunlop (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Shout!) as Princess Jasmine.
From the producers of acclaimed musicals Irving Berlin’s White Christmas The Musical and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang comes one amazing, fun filled family show with incredible sets, costumes, scenic wizardry and a full orchestra playing some of the best known musical tunes of our time. All contained in a purpose built theatre under the canopy of The O2 allowing great views, atmosphere and theatrical magic.
