Live Tweeting: Last night’s Club Outing to The King’s Speech

Whatsonstage.com’s Theatre Club are attending an Outing to David Seidler’s The King’s Speech this evening (16 April 2012).

The play which inspired the multi award-winning film is staged by Adrian Noble with a cast led by Charles Edwards as George VI (the role which won Colin Firth an Oscar) alongside Jonathan Hyde as Australian speech therapist Lionel Logue, as played on the big screen by Geoffrey Rush.

The pair are joined in the cast by Emma Fielding (Queen Elizabeth), Joss Ackland (George V) and Ian McNeice (Churchill).

In addition to seeing the performance, Whatsonstage.com Theatre Club members will also enjoy an exclusive post-show Q&A with members of the cast.

Whatsonstage.com will be live-tweeting the Q&A, with Charles Edwards, Jonathan Hyde and other members of the cast all expected to attend.
