James Corden sets sights on London stage return?

James Corden has been a busy man of late. Fresh from winning a Tony Award for his portrayal of Francis Henshall in Richard Bean's One Man, Two Guvnors, he's already started work on a handful of film projects.

But theatre fans won't miss him for long, it seems. Speaking to the Evening Standard recently, Corden revealed he's keen to return to the London stage "within two and a half years".

He said: "What the experience of One Man, Two Guvnors taught me was acting in its purest. They say television will make you rich, film will make you famous and theatre will make you good. I’m more focused and more interested in being good."

Corden, who is currently filming a biopic about Britain’s Got Talent star Paul Potts, cut his acting teeth in the chorus of Martin Guerre before rising to fame in Alan Bennett's The History Boys. He has been a multiple host of the Whatsonstage.com Awards, including the infamous 2008 Concert when he snogged Daniel Radcliffe on stage.
