Show Pics: Antony Sher stars in Captain of Kopenick

Production images have been released for The Captain of Kopenick, which opens at the NT Olivier tonight (5 February 2013).

Carl Zuckmayer’s play stars Antony Sher, and tells the story of Wilhelm Voight, a man released after fifteen years in prison, trapped in a bureaucratic maze, wandering 1910 Berlin in desperate, hazardous pursuit of identity papers.

Directed by Adrian Noble and designed by Anthony Ward, the cast also includes Adrian Schiller, Paul Chequer and Kaisa Hammarlund. It runs until 4 April.
