Rupert can be seen as Jack Featherington in the second series of the hit show Bridgerton, produced by Netflix and Shondaland and in Harlan Coban’s Lazarus.
Prior to this, he starred as Larry in Dear Evan Hansen on the West End – a role that earned him an Olivier nomination and appeared in a supporting role in The Secret Garden, opposite Colin Firth and Julie Walters.
His extensive television work includes Merlin, Shameless, People Just Do Nothing, Doc Martin, Foyle’s War, Hotel Babylon, The White Queen, Doctor Who, a starring role in Dirty Filthy Love (a 2004 Television Film alongside Michael Sheen), and numerous others.
Other theatre credits include Cole Porter’s classic feel-good musical High Society at the Old Vic, Gaslight, an ATG tour and Duke Orsino in Twelfth Night, Kwame Kwei-Armah’s first show as artistic director of the Young Vic.
