About This Show

This one-man show eloquently moves between storytelling, ancient drama, irony and humour to bear witness to the journey of those who become stranded in their search for refuge across Europe. An actor wants to share his experience, to save the world, but instead he must simply stand by and watch. As landscapes are crossed and cultures meet, even animals and a tree become involuntary observers of these traumatic tales of flight and displacement.

Director Ofira Henig and actor Khalifa Natour describe the troubling plight of refugees from a range of perspectives in this timely and affecting performance of words, song, poetry and movement. Performed in Arabic with English surtitles.
