About This Show

Sick is a storytelling show about one receptionist’s journey through four years of cuts to the national health service. Based on writer and performer Shey Hargreaves’ real experiences of working on an emergency medical unit, the show explores the impact of policy changes on patients, staff, and their families and friends. Sick brings to life the bizarre, hilarious and heartbreaking nature of an emergency department through comedy, storytelling and a lot of phone calls.
