Murder in the Cathedral

TS Eliot’s masterpiece, dealing with an individuals opposition to authority, tells of the assassination of Archbishop Thomas Becket in Canterbury Cathedral in 1170. This gloriously poetic and highly dramatic play was first performed in 1935.
