Brazil Diversity presents eight short plays in an evening that will reveal a Brazil beyond Samba and football. Bringing together Brazilian and non-Brazilian artists (cis, trans, LGBT+ and friends), committed to fighting for LGBT+ rights around the world. – A young woman of the 1960s, married with children, cannot forget her female lover. – A gay couple face a bizarre situation: after a night of fun, they are forced to get married. – A fat trans woman makes us confront our prejudices about the body of the other. – A flower speaks to the human race in the name of nature’s diversity. – A man loses sleep when he discovers a secret love affair between two old ladies. – A person wins the legal right not to be either a man or a woman. – A homophobe sees his mental state crumble after a man he’s attacked kisses him. – A man finds the mystery of being in his own body by stripping off his princess costume.
