About the Show
A veteran of stage, screen and audio books, and a deeply committed conservationist, Rula Lenska is immensely proud of her Polish roots. In From Dzikow to Willesden Green – based on the memoirs of Elizabeth ‘Bisia’ Carroll as recorded for BBC Radio 4 in 1980 – Lenksa provides a conduit for her beloved mother’s moving, funny, devastating story and is delighted to be giving voice to her words live on stage at Crazy Coqs.
