About This Show

Our intimate Late Night Jazz series presents sensational music in the relaxed setting of the Elgar Room. The series is part of a wide range of events to enjoy outside our main auditorium.

Joining us for this festive Late Night Jazz session is the Michele Drees Jazz Tap Project, a spectacular mix of rhythm, tap dance and jazz. This project works towards helping the revival of the iconic ?jazz tap’ that originated in Harlem, and then became popularised on Hollywood’s silver screen. London-based Michele Drees is an established drummer, Latin percussionist, vocalist, guitarist and composer. She has been active on the music scene for over 30 years, and during this time she has played with artists including Marc Almond, Kirsty MacColl, Ive Mendes, KD Lang, Badmarsh and Shri and Susanne Vega to name a few.
