Late Night Jazz – Jason Frederick Cinematic Trio – A Charlie Brown Christmas: The Music of Vince Guaraldi

Our intimate Late Night Jazz series presents sensational music in the Royal Albert Hall’s Elgar Room. Joining us for this special festive Late Night Jazz session are the Jason Frederick Cinematic Trio, who will perform Vince Guaraldi’s jazz soundtrack for the classic cartoon A Charlie Brown Christmas with other seasonal favourites. Paying homage to both the genius of composer Vince Guaraldi and creator Charles M. Schulz, the first half of the show will feature music from A Charlie Brown Christmas, along with Vince’s Cast Your Fate To The Wind and The Great Pumpkin Waltz, plus two brief films about the pianist and his Peanuts music. The second half will feature Vince Guaraldi-style Christmas tunes and a climatic swinging singalong 12 Days Of Christmas.
