Landscape (1989)

Following CELEBRATION, Emergency Chorus present their sophomore show, Landscape (1989), a piece which combines text, movement and music to explore apocalypse, ecology and narrative.

Zooming in on the matsutake mushroom trade in Oregon in 1989 and two travellers passing through a National Park, Landscape (1989) is an intimate and reflective performance asking where we’ve been, where we’re going, and how we choose to inhabit a world which is quickly dying.

This will be the show’s London premiere.
