A Tiny Scratch is a collaboration of emerging writers, actors and theatre makers. Tiny Theatre Company endeavour to give three short pieces of new writing a platform, sharing each story and bringing characters to life for the very first time. The three plays included in the evening are: The Funeral by David Hendon, Home To Vote by Roisin Moriarty, and Ten Minutes by Julian Felice. Each piece explores twenty first century subject matters inclusive of relationships and stories one can relate to. Each play is similar with it’s clever, quick witted and dry sense of humour adding light hearted amusement to some very important and relevant themes. The Funeral explores bereavement, mental health and the relationship of three sisters leading three different lives in our modern day society. Home To Vote tackles the abortion vote in Ireland and a conflict of opinion on the matter between two young friends. In the highly comedic two hander, Ten Minutes, we witness the conversation between two men who believe they only have ten minutes left to live…
