Last night (25 April 2012), our brave Whatsonstage.com theatregoers battled the rain to see the West End transfer of An Instinct For Kindness, which premiered to acclaim at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2011 and has now transferred to Trafalgar Studios 2.
Following the performance Larner and director Hannah Eidinow, who has won the most Fringe First Awards of any person or body to date, joined us for a thought-provoking Q&A. Larner shared with us the process of writing the piece while Eidinow told us how important her role was, not just as director but editor. Audience members asked questions ranging from reactions to the piece to how family members are coping 17 months on. And, unusually for a Q&A, there were many comments rather than questions from the floor, particularly people sharing their own experiences.
