Did you vote for Lee Mead in Any Dream Will Do? How do you fancy seeing him making his non musical debut in Lord Arthur Savile’s Crime? We have 2 pairs of tickets to give away for the tour dates in Manchester.
THE PLAY:
Lee Mead, who won the heart of the nation as the winner of the hit BBC show Any Dream Will Do, makes his drama debut, starring in Bill Kenwright’s production of Oscar Wilde’s classic comedy Lord Arthur Savile’s Crime, at the Palace Theatre from 8th to 13th March. Lee was ‘the peoples’ Joseph’ in the West End musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, playing to packed houses and critical acclaim from 2007 until early 2009, as well as releasing his debut solo album, which sold almost 200,000 copies.
Lord Arthur Savile is deliriously happy; a pillar of Victorian society on the verge of marriage to the lovely Sybil Merton, when a brief departure from late 19th Century convention leads him to an encounter with a chilling clairvoyance called Podgers.
