Manchester’s Vertigo Theatre Company have cancelled their planned production of Something Sinister and will now present Out in June.

Out is a drama following a group of gay characters in Manchester. Craig Hepworth says: “We are so thrilled to do this play which is based around gay life in Manchester after producing shows there for so long. It’s perfect that Out will premiere at Taurus in the heart of the gay village. We are dedicated to presenting only the best works and we did not feel that Something Sinister matched our previous efforts.

Out tells the story of a group of gay friends who are brought together by the death of a fellow friend due to HIV. His death forces the friends to look at their lives, their loves, the mistakes and their choices, each friend’s life will be touched in some way by a direct link to the loss.

The play is written by Craig Hepworth and Adele Stanhope and runs at Taurus from 8 – 13 June at Taurus Bar, Canal Street.
