Photos: Richard Fleeshman Bows in Blonde

Richard Fleeshman celebrated his opening night in Legally Blonde at the Savoy Theatre last night (28 June), having taking over from Duncan James as Warner in the screen-to-stage musical.

Warner Huntington III – to give him his full name – is the heartbreaker college sweetheart who Sheridan Smith’s leading lady, sorority girl Elle Woods, follows to Harvard Law School in the musical comedy based on the 2001 Hollywood film.

Fleeshman, who rose to fame on Coronation Street and has since forged a music career, was joined at the post-show party by guests including glamour model Nicola McLean, Mel B’s sister Danielle Brown, former Steps singer Claire Richards, soap stars Loui Batley and Roxanne McKee and Over the Rainbow constestants Lauren Samuels, Amy Diamond, Steph Fearon, Claire Hillier and Bronte Barbe.
