Qdos Entertainment, producers of Cinderella at Newcastle’s Theatre Royal, have agreed with Roxanne Pallett to release her from the production due to personal circumstances following the sudden death of a close friend.

Philip Bernays, Chief Executive of the Theatre Royal Newcastle said,

“Obviously our thoughts are with Roxanne at this difficult time and we are very sorry to lose her from the pantomime. The role of Cinderella will now be played by Amy Bruce. Theatre Royal audiences will recognise Amy, an excellent performer, from previous pantomimes at the theatre and she makes a truly magical Cinderella”

Cinderella, starring Clive Webb and Danny Adams, runs at the Theatre Royal, Newcastle until Saturday 16 January 2010.
