Eugene O’Neill’s 1924 play reworks the Greek tragedy of Phaedra to the unsettling scenery of rural New England. It runs at the Lyric Hammersmith until 10 November.


Swan Lake
8 October 2012

With
instantly recognizable music and a timeless story of good against evil, Tchaikovsky’s
Swan Lake is one of the most famous ballets. Anthony Dowell‘s
production draws upon the opulent style of 1890s Russia. It runs at the Royal Opera House until 24 November.

of two strangers, this story by Spanish dramatist
Tirso di Molina is brought to vivid life in Frank McGuinness‘ new
version. It runs at the NT Olivier until 17 December.

Joel Horwood‘s play, which centres on a father and son, both brought up in Peterborough, comes to the Soho Theatre after a run at the Edinburgh Fringe. It runs until 20 October.

Award-winning playwright Alecky Blythe returns to the stage in the world premiere of Nicholas Pierpan‘s new play, which is directed by Matthew Dunster. It runs at Southwark Playhouse until 3 November.

A high
stakes and suspenseful exploration of memory, truth and perception, Tape comes to London for
its first West End run, ten years on from its New York premiere. Starring Marc Elliott, it runs at the Trafalgar Studios until 10 November.
