Among this week’s major London theatre
openings, in the West End and further afield, are new Beatles musical Let It Be, A Chorus of Disapproval starring Rob Brydon, Nigel Harman and Ashley Jensen, the RSC’s production of Much Ado About Nothing starring Meera Syal and Paul Bhattacharjee, the NT’s production of new play This House, and more:
Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Beatles, Let it Be is jam-packed with over twenty of their greatest hits, recreating their meteoric rise from their humble beginnings through the heights of Beatlemania, to their later studio masterpieces. It runs at the Prince of Wales Theatre until 19 January.

The first opera in Richard Wagner’s Der Ring des Nibelungen, Das Rheingold introduces a vast, mythical world. Keith Warner’s production combines the epic and the contemporary. It runs at the Royal Opera House until 26 October.
