Mark Arends’ new production, suitable for ages 8+, tells the story of Kepler, who builds a spaceship after he loses his wife in a tragic circus accident. Told completely through projection, puppetry and music (there are no words at all), it runs to 24 June.

Three separate short plays by Neil Labute explore whether evil underlines us all, or merely disguises itself frighteningly well in a few. At Barons Court Theatre until 17 June.

Friedrich Dürrenmatt’s 1961 play is revived at the Donmar Warehouse in a new version by Jack Thorne, starring John Heffernan, Sophie Thompson, Miranda Raison and Paul Bhattacharjee and directed by Josie Rourke. Until 21 July.

Meat

Jimmy Osborne‘s new play about a meat factory worker-turned-vigilante premieres at Theatre503 in Battersea, where it runs to the end of the month.
