OPENING 27 NOVEMBER 2009, after taking audiences over the rainbow to Oz and through the wardrobe to Narnia, the next stop is Never Land. Peter Pan is presented by Edinburgh’s Lyceum Theatre. The cast includes Scott Fletcher as Peter, Kim Gerard as Wendy and Stuart Bowman as Captain Hook. JM Barrie’s legendary boy hero will soar” onto the Lyceum
stage to entertain, astound and inspire”. The season continues until 03 January 2010.

OPENING 28 NOVEMBER 2009, Allan Stewart stars as the dame in Robinson Crusoe & The Caribbean Pirates at Edinburgh’s King’s Theatre.  Forth One radio presenter Grant Stott returns as the baddie alonside Jo Freer and Charlie Cairoli. The “brand new swashbuckling adventure” features “thrilling sword fights,
stunning sets, hilarious comedy, a shipwreck, a sea monster and a
beautiful mermaid”. Paul Elliot adapts and directs. The season continues until 17 January 2010.

OPENING 28 NOVEMBER 2009, Elaine C Smith stars as the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella at Aberdeen’s His Majesty’s Theatre. Alan McHugh and Jordan Young play the ugly sisters, with Sophie Boyne in the title role, Callum Nicol as her beau (Prince Charming), and Finn den Hertog as Buttons. Producers promise a “spectacular re-telling of this age-old, heartwarming tale of a girl and
her mysterious slipper”. The season continues until 03 January 2010. 

OPENING 28 NOVEMBER 2009, a magical re-telling of the classic Brothers Grimm fairy tale Cinderella, written specially for the Glasgow’s Citizens Theatre. The “festive family treat” features “imaginative storytelling and original live music” and will “take you to an enchanted place where spells are cast, timing is everything and wishes can come true”. The cast includes Helen McAlpine, Mairi Phillips, Sarah Haworth, Cara
Kelly, Mark Carlisle and Andrew Scott-Ramsay. The season continues until 02 January 2010.

OPENING 02 DECEMBER 2009, Glasgow’s Arches arts complex presents a magical and fun-filled re-telling of the classic Brothers Grimm
story Little Red Riding Hood, with live music, puppets, song and dance. Will Little Red Riding Hood manage to save her wee Granny from the sly Mr Wolf? The production is directed by Julie Brown with music and lyrics by Alasdair Macrae and design by Hazel Blue. The season continues until 03 January 2010.

OPENING 04 December 2009, Gerard Kelly and Karen Dunbar star in Aladdin at Glasgow’s King’s Theatre  The season continues until 30 January.  King’s panto favourite Gavin Mitchell returns as evil Abanazar and Any Dream Will Do and Joseph star Keith Jack plays Aladdin. With “stunning new costumes, sumptuous new sets, spectacular spells and
