With the hullabaloo over the 25th anniversary of Les Miserables, what with the touring production coming into the Barbican and those O2 Arena concerts, is it possible some have overlooked the fact that the genuine anniversary performance actually takes place at the Queen’s Theatre on Friday, 8 October? Surely all ardent Les Mis fans will wish to hear the people sing and be beggars at the feast for that historical occasion? So why has that performance still not sold out*? Surely at the end of the day there will not be any empty chairs?
