Good evening one and all and welcome to another installment of Morgan & West’s blog at whatsonstage.com! Today we thought we’d write about how shattered we both are after four days of the Fringe. To some that will sound silly, so to illustrate my point I thought I’d give a brief run down of our itinerary.

7:45  Wake up, shower, shave, wax moustache, drink tea.

8:30  Have breakfast and sort out Gladstone bags for the day including flyers and posters.

9:20  Leave our humble abode and head for the Royal Mile.

9:45  Arrive at the Mile and put up posters.

10:30  Begin to flyer the passers by on the Mile.

12:00  Brief lunch stop. We’re rather fond of this ‘meal deal’ that Boots offer. Back in our day Boots was just a chemist where you could get all the cures and arsenic you’d ever need. Continue flyering.

14:00  Head to the Gilded Balloon to flyer the patrons of Bristo Square.

15:30  Set up show.

15:45  This is when the magic happens.

16:45  This is when the magic stops happening.

17:00  Flyer a bit more. Must hand out 1000 a day!

18:00  Head home, shower, eat, drink tea, put on new shirt and waistcoat.

18:30  Put feet up, drink more tea.

19:00  Head out to perform at cabaret engagements. If not heading out then rehearse. On rare occasions go and see a show.

01:00 Up the wooden hills to Bedfordshire.

Pretty busy as you can see. We do love it so though!

If you’re planning to come and see us work our minor miracles then I do suggest you book in advance, many have been turned away without a ticket recently. Also should you be on the look out for something to see then do go along to Jeremy Lion Goes Green at the Pleasance. It is, frankly, cracking.

On Monday we’ll be at the Fest launch party and then on Tuesday we’ll be at Kitty Cointreau’s BraHaHa and Comedy Countdown. See you soon.
