Morgan & West: Bloomin’ Good Biscuits

Hello one and all. Welcome back to this our inter-web-net home away from home! As we have mentioned many times before we’re both exhausted and with good reason too! The cabaret appearances have been coming thick and fast and tonight we’re off to join Des O’Connor at Ghillie Dhu, we’re very excited let me tell you!

We were at the midnight showing of the rather fantastic Kabarett: Alternative Variety at the Voodoo Rooms on Sunday night.  We shared the stage with some burlesque acts including Hetti Heartache who we’ve bumped into many times.  The audience were simply wonderful despite only being about 15 strong and it was a very fun evening indeed. The highlight for us was the pack of HobNobs (which we’d just given to someone on stage) making their way around the audience for everyone to have a biscuit – community Edinburgh Fringe spirit indeed!

We’ve also bumped into fellow magician Piff the Magic Dragon at various cabaret performances. If you get a chance then do go along and see his rather unique (and adorable) levitating chihuahua, although do beware his fiery breath!

Tonight we’re off to see The Axis of Awesome do their thing at the Gilded Balloon. Their new songs are top notch and well worth a look!
