After his stint last year in Othello, comedian Lenny Henry seems to have caught the Shakespeare bug. According to The Stage, Henry is in talks to do Twelfth Night, another Northern Broadsides’ production with artistic director Barrie Rutter. It was Rutter who persuaded Henry to make his Shakespearean debut tackling the title role Othello, which earned him the Outstanding Newcomer prize at the Evening Standard Awards and a Whatsonstage.com nomination. “People obviously loved the production and Barrie’s interpretation of it,” Henry told The Stage. “He is a great person to work with.”
