The tiny Landor theatre in South London is on a roll at the moment with a series of star-led musical revivals, including Smokey Joe’s Cafe, Closer Than Ever and Tomorrow Morning. Now word has reached Whatsonstage.com that Andrew Lloyd Webber has given the green light for the 60-seat venue to stage a “major revival” of one of his shows early in the new year. No news yet on exactly which show has been chosen, but the Lord was spotted attending Smokey Joe’s Cafe earlier this year to see Over the Rainbow semi-finalist Steph Fearon in action, and was said to be impressed with the pocket-sized pub theatre and its young producer Thomas Hopkins.
