Knightley Looks Forward to Play Every 18 Months???

Less than a year ago, Keira Knightley was suffering from a very public bout of stage fright, terrified that she would be “burned alive” by critics when making her stage debut in the West End revival of Martin Crimp’s modern version of Moliere’s comedy The Misanthrope. In the event, critics were fairly impressed – and so were the Olivier judges, who nominated her for Best Supporting Actress for her performance. And the experience seems to have given her the theatre bug. Producers have confirmed today that she’ll return to the West End in the new year, alongside Mad Men’s Elisabeth Moss, in Ian Rickson’s new production of Lillian Hellman’s 1934 play The Children’s Hour. And she’s not stopping there. According to the Daily Mail’s Baz Bamigboye, Knightley is keen to do a play about every 18 months, balancing theatre with her ongoing film commitments. What might she choose for 2012?
