Hayley Tamaddon, who was recently crowned champion of ITV’s Dancing on Ice, is to star as Peter Pan at Sheffield’s Lyceum Theatre this December. It marks a return to the city for the former Emmerdale star, who played the Fairy Godmother in the Lyceum’s production of Cinderella in 2007.

Tamaddon has previously starred in Boogie Nights, Mamma Mia! and Fame in the West End and was part of the National Tour of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. She also demonstrated her vocal abilities as a finalist in the ITV show Soap Star Superstar.

Also appearing in the Sheffield Theatres and Evolution Pantomimes’ production of Peter Pan is Damian Williams. This will be Williams’ third consecutive year in pantomime at the Lyceum, having previously starred as Widow Twanky in Aladdin and Nurse Nellie in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Peter Pan will be at the Lyceum Theatre in Sheffield from 10 December 2010 to 9 January 2011. For tickets, contact the box office on 0114 249 6000.
