Grease is the Word for Bunton & Andre???

Emma Bunton could be set to follow fellow Spice Girl and recent Olivier nominee Melanie C onto the West End stage, if current whispers are to be believed.

According to today’s London Metro, Bunton was spotted recently watching Grease at the Piccadilly Theatre, ahead of a meeting with producers about playing the role of Sandy.

And that’s not the only Grease casting rumour floating round at the moment. An unnamed ‘boss’ on the show told The Sun recently that they’ve approached pop star and reality TV favourite Peter Andre about the role of Danny Zuko (currently being played by former Hear’Say singer Noel Sullivan).

“Pete has had lots of offers from musicals but Grease is one of his favourites”, said the mystery insider. “He loves the character of Danny and he’s confident that he will be able to play him – even if only for a short stint.”
