Goonies & Dave Next for Musical Makeovers???

Husband and wife director/producer team Richard Donner and Lauren Shuler Donner have revealed their plans to bring two of their respective films – Dave and The Goonies – to the stage. Speaking to collider.com at a recent awards ceremony, Richard Donner, who directed The Goonies, said they were “far along the line” with a Broadway version. His wife then joined him on the red carpet to confirm that she is also planning a stage adaptation of Dave, the 1993 comedy about a lookalike who impersonates the US President.
