Internationally acclaimed Company Chameleon present the world premiere of two stunning new pieces of dance.
Choreographed by Anthony Missen Second Grace takes the experience of a soldier at war to explore a universal truth. Stark, powerful and muscular the piece reveals the bravery of a man who is strong enough to travel against the dictates of society.
Shattered, choreographed by Kevin Edward Turner, meanwhile explores the many facets that create every individual in a an intelligent and physical look at the memory and identity of an anonymous tattooed character.
Company Chameleon will also be working with local emerging dancers to develop and present short solo works as part of the evening.
Formed in 2007 by Anthony Missen and Kevin Edward Turner, Company Chameleon specialize in powerful contemporary dance. Firm believers that dance can be a vibrant method of social change their work tackles challenging issues in inventive ways, they were recently in residence at the Lowry.
7 is at the Contact Theatre, Manchester on 5 February.
