The hit Tony Award winning musical Avenue Q is headed to the Lowry next May, following five years in the West End.
The show which features badly behaved puppets and political incorrectness, is hitting the road with further venues and casting to be announced.
Avenue Q follows a group of lovably hopeless characters on a downtown New York street trying to make sense of life’s burning issues: love, work, relationships and, above all, just how are you supposed to pay the bills with a BA in English?
The show finishes its London run this weekend, after playing in three West End venues, ending its run at the Wyndham’s Theatre.
Avenue Q arrives at the Lowry (Lyric Theatre) from Tues 31 May – Sat 4 June.
