The third instalment in Neil LaBute‘s ‘Beauty’ trilogy, Reasons to Be Pretty, opened at the Almeida Theatre last night (17 November, previews from 10 November).
Debuted at New York’s Lucille Lortel Theater in 2008 the play had previously been tipped for the West End and connected with names including Lily Allen, Julia Stiles and Ugly Betty’s America Ferrera.
The Almedia’s production, which has design by Soutra Gilmour, lighting by Mark Henderson and sound by Fergus O’Hare, continues until 14 January 2012.
The cast and crew were last night joined to celebrate their opening night by guests including Annabel Topham, Eliza Bailey, Ray Fearon, Blake Harrison, Kerry Lynch, Robert Webb, Kris Marshall, Laurence Fox, Karen Lewis, Ray Fearon, Julie Peasgood, Tom Riley and Tom Mison.
