Michael Peavoy leads the cast of the new Bolton Octagon production of classic summertime musical Summer Holiday, which officially opens next month. Far from a standard revival, the Octagon version of the show (based on the hit Cliff Richard film of the same name) gets audiences up and out of the theatre space and onto the streets of the city, with punters driven across town on buses to watch the show. Peavoy, whose credits include The Railway Children at Bolton Octagon, Into the Woods and Sweeney Todd at the Royal Exchange takes on the role of Don (Richard's character in the film), as he travels across Europe. We get a look at the piece in rehearsals.
