Rossendale’s Horse + Bamboo Theatre Company present an adaptation of Hansel and Gretel, running from 16 – 24 December.

Based on The Brother’s Grimm’s classic fairytale, Horse + Bamboo Theatre Company’s production uses music, film, puppets and masks. The show follows on the company's successful Red Riding Hood.

The cast features Jonny Quick – who is also the set designer, Mark Whitaker and Aya Nakamura. Horse + Bamboo Theatre Company have been making and touring theatre for over 30 years.

The classic story follows Hansel and Gretel who are lost in the woods and they're so hungry that they could eat a house – so imagine their luck when they come across a house made out of gingerbread and cake. Inside the very sweet house is a very sour witch. Hansel and Gretel are going to need their wits about them to escape her.
