Widely considered one of the most successful new operas of recent times, George Benjamin and Martin Crimp's Written on Skin returns to the Royal Opera House this month for five performances.

We went backstage at the Covent Garden venue to meet with wig and makeup technician Georgina Gabbie and actor Ben Clifford to find out what goes into making an angel.

Written on Skin runs at the Royal Opera House for five performances between 13 and 30 January 2017.
