Wilton's Music Hall announces new season

Wilton's Music Hall's latest season has been announced, with appearances from Showstoppers, a new puppet opera and the Watermill Theatre's production of Frankenstein.
Beginning the season is the off-kilter Dame Nature – The Magnificent Bearded Lady, a comedy sketch show about a remarkable figure – a lady with a beard – from East Anglia.
Showstoppers will stage the The 2017 London Jam between 16 and 19 January, while the 10th anniversary of the annual Improvathon takes place between 20 and 22 January. The show will mix George RR Martin and Tolkien and will be 50 hours of non-stop improvised comedy.
The Depraved Appetite of Tarrare the Freak is a new puppet opera based on the true story of an 18th century French revolutionary. The show runs between 30 January and 18 February.
In March, the Watermill's new production of Frankenstein will run at Wilton's. Tristan Bernays' production ran at the Watermill in October.
The theatre will also host the Reduced Shakespeare Company's William Shakespeare's Long Lost First Play (abridged) between 28 March and 1 April and a piece written and performed by Danny Mellor called Undermined, about the miners strike in 1984, between 21 and 25 March.
