The 19th Annual WhatsOnStage Awards take place this evening at the Prince of Wales Theatre in the West End. Nominees Kobna Holdbrook-Smith and Vicky Vox are hosting the event which marks the announcement of the winners.

The duo took us behind the scenes at the theatre to give us a sneak preview of how the magic happens.

Vox is formerly part of the pop group DMV, and made her theatre debut in Little Shop of Horrors, while her other credits include hit film Magic Mike XXL. Holdbrook-Smith's recent credits include Disney film Mary Poppins Returns and hit BBC drama The Split. Both hosts are nominated in the WhatsOnStage Awards – Vox for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical and Holdbrook-Smith for Best Actor in a Musical for Tina – The Tina Turner Musical.

Acts that will appear this year include Heathers the Musical, Six, and the Hope Mill Theatre production of Spring Awakening, Come From Away and more.
