The cast of Follies discuss the show backstage

Follies has its official opening night in the Olivier Theatre tomorrow, so we thought we'd hop backstage and chat to some of the cast about their favourite experiences on the show so far, including seeing Sondheim on the front row during the first preview.

The show includes songs such as "Broadway Baby", "I’m Still Here" and "Losing My Mind".

Stephen Sondheim's classic, which has a book by James Goldman, is directed by Dominic Cooke and stars Imelda Staunton, Janie Dee, Tracie Bennett, Zizi Strallen, Philip Quast, Adam Rhys-Charles, Peter Forbes and many more.

Follies runs in the Olivier Theatre at the National until 3 January.
