The Udderbelly and London Wonderground festivals are returning to the South Bank this summer.

Programming in the Udderbelly – the distinctive inverted purple cow – runs from 9 April to 19 July 2015, with headliners this year including jugglers Circus Greeks, UK circus act Bromance and comedians Katherine Ryan, James Acaster and Richard Herring.

The London Wonderground meanwhile will be open from 7 May to 27 September and feature acts including "daredevil acrobats" Scotch & Soda and "boylesque" troupe BRIEFS, who performed last year.

Ed Bartlam and Charlie Wood, directors of Underbelly, said: "We can scarcely believe that this will be Udderbelly's seventh year at Southbank Centre and our fourth year with London Wonderground… We’re very excited about this year’s festivals and can’t wait to get the Cow's legs up in the air and the mirrors polished on that Spiegeltent again."

Jude Kelly, Southbank Centre's artistic director, added: "We're thrilled to bring back the Udderbelly Festival and London Wonderground, both of which draw thousands of people – including young people and families – who enjoy the informality and sense of festival fringe to our riverside site throughout the summer."
