1) Alice's Adventures Underground

The Vaults

The Olivier-nominated show Alice's Adventures Underground returns to The Vaults in April 2017 for a five month run, and is already a hot ticket.

Originally conceived as a celebration of the 150th anniversary of Lewis Carroll's classic novel, the show invites guests down the rabbit hole and combines storytelling, live music, puppetry, and circus to create a fully-formed Wonderland. Immersive theatre at its most innovative and exciting.

2) The Boys in the Band

Vaudeville Theatre

Mart Crowley's 1968 play, which focuses on an uncomfortable birthday gathering amongst a group of gay friends on Manhattan's Upper East Side, was a sell out success earlier this year at the Park Theatre, gaining raves from critics and audiences alike.

Adam Penford's fine production transfers into the West End for a special two week season, and once again stars Mark Gatiss, Ian Hallard, Daniel Boys, John Hopkins and Jack Derges. Rush to get tickets.

3) The Kite Runner

Wyndham's Theatre

Based on Khaled Hosseini's best-selling novel, this riveting, deeply moving play is a tale of friendship, betrayal, revenge and redemption set in a country on the brink of war. The story also inspired a major movie adaptation a decade ago.

A massive success on a UK tour, the production arrives in the West End for a strictly limited season.
An unforgettable modern classic.

4) Dreamgirls

Savoy Theatre

Now in previews and getting the kind of audience response many other musicals can only dream about, Dreamgirls is well on its way to being a gold-plated smash hit.

Directed and choregographed by Tony and Olivier-winning Casey Nicholaw and starring Glee's Amber Riley, the score includes the classic numbers "One Night Only", "Listen" and "(And I Am Telling You) I'm Not Going".

You're strongly advised to book for this before the reviews come out.

5) Nice Fish

Harold Pinter Theatre

Every time the glorious Mark Rylance takes to the stage it is a major event.

This charmingly quirky comedy (co-written by Rylance and poet Louis Jenkins) is set to delight London audiences after proving a sell out success in New York.

An unmissable opportunity to see one of the true theatrical greats at work.
